Our Blackpool campus registered for 56 pupils specialises in working with pupils at KS3 to KS4. Our small group sessions, full-time flexible timetables, 1:1 sessions and 10-point assessment plan all work towards building our young people’s confidence and skills and giving them the opportunity to flourish.
TAS Blackpool has a strong focus on sports, fitness, travel and tourism, health and social care.
Welcome to Abingdon Sports College!
As Headteacher, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our school community. Abingdon Sports College serves students from Years 7 to 11, and we take great pride in being a school that meets the Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) and Special Educational Needs (SEN) of every individual, regardless of their circumstances.
Our enriching curriculum is built around sport, promoting teamwork, resilience, and personal growth. Alongside academic success, we focus on creating a positive and supportive culture that enhances the learning experiences of both pupils and staff. At the heart of everything we do is warmth – a genuine care for the well-being and progress of every student, ensuring they feel valued and motivated to achieve their best.
We are also deeply committed to providing ongoing advice and support for all pupils and their families. I strive to foster an environment where positivity is contagious, empowering our students and staff to achieve success each day during their time with us.
I look forward to working with you and your family as part of the Abingdon Sports College community.
Warm regards,
Neil Reynolds
